Coming away from NXT Takeover: Hollywood with a loss, Ospreay looks to rebuild his outstanding reputation in the NXT locker room. He comes out, strutting down to the ring with his NXT Cruiserweight Championship around his waist. He cuts a promo, commenting on how he is going to change his focus from winning the tag team championship to establishing himself as a worthy singles competitor, even going on to say that he doesn’t value the NXT Cruiserweight Championship because he believes he can be doing better in the top of the card. “Every division I have been in, I have been the best that there has to offer, from here to Japan-“
“If anyone knows Will Ospreay in-ring, it’s this man! A competitor who has had a similar path to the Aerial Assassin, and a man who has had great matches with Will Ospreay, it’s Kushida!”
Kushida comes down to the ring, a smirk on his face as he reunites with one of his biggest rivals. “The best everywhere you have gone, you say? Will, I respect you, but when we share the same ring, the entire world knows who the better man of the two is.” Kushida carefully brings down his microphone before pointing to himself, the audience watching on as the tension builds. “If anyone deserves a shot at the NXT Cruiserweight Championship, you’re looking at him.”
Ospreay replies back, claiming that his matches with Kushida are some of his favourite in his career. “We would be doing this NXT crowd an injustice if we didn’t share the ring one more time, to finally settle the score that has been on the hinges for 5 years.” Kushida and Ospreay decide that next week, they will face off in a non-title match, as Ospreay believes that someone’s results in another company shouldn’t dictate their opportunities in their current company. If Kushida can defeat Ospreay, he will get a title shot, it’s as simple as that.

NXT – April 14th 2021 – Kushida vs Will Ospreay in a Non-Title Match
While Ospreay seems to be holding back in this match, with the Cruiserweight Championship not on the line, Kushida gives it his all, Ospreay getting somewhat cocky over the fact that he’s won their last 2 singles encounters, and by now, he seems to have Kushida’s number. We see Ospreay give out a more borderline heel stance, a side that Kushida brings out in him, as he is able to keep up with Kushida thanks to more dirty tactics, paying homage to his earlier years.
Ospreay goes for the Pip Pip Cheerio, but Kushida has that move telegraphed, he connects a superkick mid-air, staggering Ospreay, as he falls into a bridging high angle german suplex. Kushida gets Ospreay up, he goes for the Back to the Future, but Ospreay is able to fight his way out of it, he connects a Rainham Maker! Ospreay goes to the top rope, but his leg gives in, a limb that Kushida targeted earlier in the match, Kushida lunges to his feet, seizing the opportunity, SUPERNOVA RANA! Kushida beautifully transitions to the Kushida Lock, and Ospreay finds himself in a precarious position, he is eventually able to just make it to the ropes.
Kushida wastes no time going after Ospreay, who elbows Kushida, he goes for the Os-cutter, but Kushida ducks under it, superkick, Ospreay stays up, Kushida goes for another superkick, but Ospreay dodges it, he goes for the Storm Breaker, Kushida gets out of it, amazing back and forth, BUZZSAW KICK! He goes to the top rope, and connects the Midnight Express, he gets Ospreay up, who is groggy, and connects the BACK TO THE FUTURE! Kushida goes for the cover, 1…2…3!
Kushida def. Will Ospreay (15 minutes)
A superb encounter has ended with Kushida pinning the NXT Cruiserweight Champion, meaning that he will get a title shot on two weeks time on the final NXT of the month! The Red Star of NXT celebrates his victory as Ospreay recovers in the corner, gutted, somewhat shocked at the result that has just played out. The match is set in stone, as Ospreay faces the greatest challenger for his championship to date, Kushida, in what promises to be a fantastic match for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship.

NXT – April 28th 2021
Both men make their entrances, a certain atmosphere in the air for this match tonight, Kushida competing in perhaps his biggest match in the WWE to-date, and Ospreay having a lot to prove despite being the champion. Two weeks ago, Kushida got the clean pin over Ospreay, and now his championship reign can be halted by Ospreay’s greatest rival. The ring-introductions are made, the bell rings and this championship match is underway.

The Full Sail crowd are fully aware of the fantastic in-ring chemistry these two men have with each other, and tonight, they compete over Ospreay’s Cruiserweight Championship. Both men circle the ring, Ospreay isn’t over-confident tonight like their first encounter, he is fully focused. They entire a collar and elbow tie up, Ospreay floors Kushida who is able to pounce back up to his feet, side headlock takedown follows, Ospreay fights up to his feet as the ref splits them up at the ropes, Kushida teases striking Ospreay, but instead pats his chest, Ospreay slapping Kushida in return.
The match then becomes aggressive, Kushida strikes Ospreay, who replies with a lariat, Kushida falling to the canvas and kipping up to dodge it, he then connects a hurricanrana which sends Ospreay into the corner, Kushida charges towards him, Ospreay setting him up and connecting an early Cheeky Nandos! Ospreay attempts to seize the opportunity, he goes for the Storm Breaker, Kushida gets out of it, he goes for the superkick which Ospreay dodges, and it’s deadlock again, nothing to separate these two as they are not holding back for this encounter.
The match advances, the trademark fast pace of these two in full effect as they glue the fans to their seats. Last match, Kushida targeted the leg of Ospreay, the latter counters this by preventing Kushida from entering the mat game, but the versatile offence of Kushida means that Ospreay has a tough job to avoid the leg attacks, the two end up fighting on the apron, concluding with a blistering dragon suplex from Kushida to Ospreay, both men able to get in just in time. Back inside the ring, Kushida goes for the Bussaw Kick, Ospreay catches it and flips Kushida, he lands on his feet but meets a clubbing forearm, Ospreay swiftly moves out to the apron, he goes for the Pip Pip Cheerio, Kushida goes for the mid-air superkick yet again, but Ospreay catches it, not falling for the same trick, he then connects the STORM BREAKER! Out of energy, Ospreay crawls over to Kushida, who is able to slide out of the ring just in time, Ospreay replies with a Sasuke Special.
The two fight on the outside of the ring, Kushida using the ring post for leverage to connect a beautiful tilt-a-whirl DDT, he then travels to the top rope and connects a Moonsault to the outside of the ring. Back inside the ring, he goes for the Midnight Express, however Ospreay is able to move away just in time, he goes for the Os-cutter, but Kushida stops him and chucks him over the top rope, Ospreay is able to get in before the 10 count, Kushida wastes no time connecting the Buzzsaw Kick, he goes for the Hoverboard Lock, but Ospreay decks him out with a reverse rana. Ospreay travels to the top ropes, hoping his leg won’t give in again, but Kushida pounces to his feet yet again, he goes up to the top rope, going for the Supernova Rana, but Ospreay catches him and connects a SIT OUT POWERBOMB FROM THE TOP ROPE! Both men are motionless as the referee begins to count… 1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8…9……10! The bell rings and the match is over!
Kushida vs Will Ospreay ends in a no-contest (26 minutes)
These two gave so much in the ring tonight, that a winner could not even be decided! To show how close this rivalry is, how well these two know each other, they both fought to a no contest, neither man wanting to give up! Both men slowly recover to their feet, coming to the understanding of what just happened, they both give extended glances to each other as they realize that they fought to a no contest tonight. Ospreay aggressively grabs his NXT Cruiserweight Championship and walks up the ramp, somewhat frustrated, while Kushida stands in the ring, confused and conflicted.

NXT – 5th May 2021
Backstage, William Regal confronts Will Ospreay. “Will, I’m sure you know what this conversation is going to be about.” Ospreay lays his sunglasses over a cabinet besides him. “Last week, you and Kushida had nothing short of a fantastic match, and I understand that you may be a bit tired of facing him, but I’m doing what needs to be done here, so-“
“I’m facing him next week?” Ospreay replies. Regal takes a breath, looking down to the ground, as he tries to choose his words. “Yes. That title will be on the line, and after this, you can have as long off as you want, just need you to pull through for me one more time.” Ospreay contemplates, as he slowly begins to nod his head. “Okay.” Regal thanks Ospreay, before walking off into the distance.
“Regal!” Ospreay yells, Regal slowly turns around. “I want a true winner. Two out of three falls.” The fans pop for Ospreay’s revelation, as a grin bestows upon the face of Regal. “I like your style, Will. I’ll put it in stone.” They both walk their separate ways, Ospreay picking up the Cruiserweight Championship as he looks forward to his final match with Kushida next week, two out of three falls.

NXT – 12th May 2021
Tonight, it’s the climax of a storied rivalry. Tonight, the Red Star, Kushida, goes up against the Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay, in a 2/3 Falls Match (as per requested by Ospreay) for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. While the two traded wins in the independent scene and in Japan, Kushida won their first, non-title NXT encounter, while the second title match ended in a no contest as both men failed to answer the ten count from the referee. Last week, the match was officially arranged, with Ospreay suggesting a 2/3 Falls Match so this rivalry can reach a befitting conclusion.
The challenger, Kushida, makes his entrance first, followed by Ospreay. The crowd are red-hot for this main event, both men eye up the championship as it is lifted by the referee. Introductions are made, the Full Sail lights dim, and the bell rings as we have reached the beginning of the end of this spectacular feud.

The atmosphere is electric, and rightfully so. A month of battling back and forth over the prize has reached this, feuds do not get a better conclusion to the one being presented tonight. Ospreay and Kushida are feeling up for the challenge, there is a step in their stride as they circle around the ring before entering a collar and elbow tie up, Kushida pushes Ospreay against the ropes, leading to a ref break, Kushida teases the cheap strike, Ospreay goes for the slap like last match, however Kushida catches it, he looks at Ospreay’s hand, and then Ospreay, who looks alarmed.
Kushida goes for a quick Buzzsaw Kick, Ospreay ducks under, irish whip, leapfrog, Kushida connects an arm drag, somersault, basement dropkick. Ospreay slides to the outside of the ring, Kushida connects a lightning fast Tope Suicida before getting Ospreay back inside the ring, he goes for an early Back to the Future, Ospreay stops him, he goes for an early Storm Breaker, Kushida fends out of that as well, it’s deadlock in the opening stages, both of these men know each other too well.
The first fall is a one of smart wrestling, Kushida sells Ospreay’s leg, a recurring theme through the matches, meaning Ospreay is unable to connect a superkick and other moves based around that single limb, forcing him to adjust his moveset. When he adapts, he begins to get back into the match, mounting a comeback before going for an Os-cutter, Kushida dodges and connects a Buzzsaw Kick, he locks in the Hoverboard Lock, and in an amazing feat of strength, Ospreay powers to his feet, and powerbombs Kushida down. The fall ultimately ends when Ospreay rolls Kushida up, his arms pinned to the mat, 1…2…3!
Will Ospreay wins the first fall (16 minutes)
And just like that, Ospreay has done what he was not able to do in his last two matches with Kushida, and that was pin him successfully. Ospreay quickly backs up into the corner, relieved over the result, while Kushida springs to his feet, quickly realizing his mistake. The ref rings the bell to signal the start of the second fall, and instead of being methodical like the first time, they both sprint to the middle of the ring, immediately exchanging blows as the lightning fast offence is clearly on display. Ospreay pulls out the Iron Octopus early to try and make Kushida tap, he is able to break free of it and deck Ospreay finally with the Buzzsaw Kick. Kushida goes to the top rope, supposedly going for the Midnight Express, but Ospreay stops him. They both fight atop the top rope, Kushida performs a Sunset Flip over Ospreay, putting him in a powerbomb position, he attempts a buckle bomb, but Ospreay resists, and counters with a DESTROYER! Kushida is flustered, Ospreay seizes the opportunity, OS-CUTTER! HE GOES FOR THE COVER, 1…2… KUSHIDA HAS KICKED OUT!
Ospreay wastes no time going for the Storm Breaker, but Kushida breaks free, both men end up fighting outside of the ring, Ospreay decking Kushida out with a Pip Pip Cheerio to the OUTSIDE of the ring, then following it up with a Sasuke Special. Back inside the ring, Ospreay goes for the Rainham Maker, but Kushida counters with a SPANISH FLY! He goes for the Midnight Express, but Ospreay MOVES OUT OF THE WAY! Ospreay gets Kushida in position for the Cheeky Nandos, but his leg gives in, Kushida has time to get out of it, he gets Ospreay up, BACK TO THE FUTURE! 1…2…3!
Kushida wins the second fall (24 minutes)
With it tied up 1-1, it all comes down to this final fall. The fall starts with a striking exchange, both men going back and forth in their valiant attempt to be named NXT Cruiserweight Champion. Ospreay eventually gets the upper hand, his endurance going to show. He connects the Shooting Star Press, he then goes for a Rainham Maker but Kushida ducks under it and connects a high angle german suplex. Both men get to their feet, forearm strike simultaneously, followed by a superkick to each other, both of them go down as the ref begins to count, reminiscent of their previous match! 1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8…9… BOTH MEN KIP UP! The crowd in Full Sail go crazy as both men go all out in their next duel, both men telegraphing each other, concluding in Kushida locking in the Hoverboard Lock as he looks to tap Ospreay out.
Ospreay is screaming in agony, but he won’t let the NXT Cruiserweight Championship go this early! He contemplates tapping out, but instead fights out of it, he gets to his feet, but he’s groggy, and Kushida connects a BACK TO THE FUTURE! NEW CHAMP, 1…2… WILL OSPREAY KICKS OUT, HE JUST WON’T GIVE UP THIS EARLY! Kushida does not know what he has to do to put away the current champion! He gets Ospreay up to the top rope, he goes for the Supernova Rana, but somehow, Will Ospreay lands on his feet! Kushida is confused, he flings himself towards Ospreay wildly with a Buzzsaw Kick, but Ospreay dodges, he picks Kushida up, STORM BREAKERRRRRR! Ospreay does not go for the pin, however, he crawls into the corner while Kushida lies motionless, all the fans here in Full Sail on their feet.
Will Ospreay stands, and he begins to pull down his armband. Never has he looked so menacing, as an unknowing Kushida slowly staggers onto his knees, dazed and worn out. Ospreay moves towards Kushida, HIDDEN BLADE! Ospreay simply collapses on top of Kushida as the referee begins to make the count, 1…2…3.
Will Ospreay wins the third and final fall (32 minutes)
It’s over. Will Ospreay has survived. Both men lie in the middle of the ring motionless while the Cruiserweight Championship is draped over Ospreay’s stomach, all the fans can do is applaud the performance of both men tonight, they put on perhaps their best match yet, but it is Will Ospreay coming away with the win 2-1, he has retained the Cruiserweight Championship. Ospreay is first to his feet, he briefly celebrates, but he’s too worn out, too fatigued for a full-on celebration. The medical officials aid Kushida, while Ospreay takes one glance at him before getting out of the ring and stumbling up the ramp.
When he reaches the top of the ramp, he lifts the championship up to the crowd. However, the applause turns to shock as JOHNNY GARGANO walks out of the curtain, he approaches Ospreay from behind… GARGANO GRABS OSPREAY AND RAMS HIM INTO THE BARRICADE! The de-facto gatekeeper of NXT receives a chorus of boos as he beats down a defenceless Ospreay, who has just gone through 3 falls of hell. Gargano plants Ospreay with a powerbomb through the announce table, before standing over him and grabbing the NXT Cruiserweight Championship to end the show. Why has Johnny Gargano done this? Nevertheless, he has a grudge to settle with Will Ospreay.

NXT – 19th May 2021
Johnny Gargano struts down to the ring, bathed in arrogance, with his wife Candice LeRae by his side. Last week, he viciously attacked Will Ospreay after his gruelling 2/3 Falls Match against Kushida, a stellar encounter, and ever since, the WWE Universe have been pleading Gargano for justification over his actions in the past week.
“Your boos. It really goes to show, doesn’t it.” Gargano chuckles, “So deceived, so… FICKLE! When I threw Tommaso Ciampa in the same titantron in February of 2019, it led to a flurry of cheers, ‘Thank You Johnny!’ chants. I do the same to Will Ospreay, and you, no actually, the wrestling media paint me out to be some kind of criminal. Johnny Gargano BRUTALLY lays out Will Ospreay. Johnny Gargano has gone beyond saving! But this isn’t about me, this is about Will Ospreay.”
“Will Ospreay arrives in NXT, has a few matches, and he’s already in the main event? His first match in this damn COMPANY is for the Cruiserweight Championship, when I joined this company, people, myself included, competed in a tournament just for a SHOT at that belt. I just notice a huge sense of… Entitlement. Will Ospreay said that NXT is his territory, but as far as I’m concerned, NXT has been Johnny Gargano’s playground for over 4 years now! So I attacked Will Ospreay because I wanted to show him how things operate. After his match with Ricochet, they became best mates. At Takeover, they lose to Moustache Mountain, but they’re all friendly and respectful after the match. Where has the competitiveness in this brand gone, huh?”
“His entire career, Will Ospreay has promoted himself on being one of the best, but as far as I’m concerned, until he’s main eventing the shows he partakes in, and not stuck in some cruiserweight-junior I don’t give a damn division, he has no RIGHT to even put himself in the same names such as Johnny Gargano, the same names such as Daniel Bryan, the same names such as, oops, I said it, Kazuchika Okada. Ospreay wants to be the frontman of this brand? You know what you have to do if you want to achieve that.” Will Ospreay’s music hits, Gargano turning to the stage, an expression implying that he knew Ospreay would interrupt.
Ospreay comes out on crutches, visual evidence of the damage Gargano caused last week, amplified due to the fact he was coming away from a 2/3 Falls Match with Kushida. “Johnny. While I may not be able to compete in these next couple of weeks due to what YOU did, I’m just as eager as you to share the same ring. So I’ll give you a date… NXT Takeover: Armageddon.” The fans pop as Gargano begins to nod. “And I don’t really care about these crutches, what I do care about, is being named the person who finally humbled Johnny Gargano.” Ospreay throws the crutches away, as he charges towards the ring.
However, a line of security guards form to stop Ospreay. He smirks, before disposing of every one. He gets in the ring, but Candice LeRae now stands in his way, she urges him to ‘hit her’ Ospreay becomes too focused with getting Candice to move, as Gargano finds an opportunity to strike and lay Ospreay out yet again. “Pick your battles, Will!” Gargano says, as he beats Ospreay down yet again.

NXT – 26th May 2021
Will Ospreay partakes in an interview so the fans can get an insight on his perspective of Johnny Gargano and what the match at NXT Takeover: Armageddon means for him. Ospreay claims that Gargano chose to attack Ospreay because with the arrival of more top-class talent in NXT, Gargano becomes more and more irrelevant, and while he knows that he can’t win the fights he picks with NXT’s newest arrivals, the relevance and the place on the card is deep down, good enough for Johnny at this point. Ospreay says that when he defeats Gargano at Takeover: Armageddon, it will be a symbol of the passing of the torch from Gargano to Ospreay as the face of NXT.

NXT – 2nd June 2021
On the go home show of NXT before Takeover: Armageddon, there is a promo package on display showing how the rivalry between Will Ospreay and Johnny Gargano has unfolded. Gargano attacking Ospreay, the confrontation, Gargano’s promo, Ospreay working intense rehab so he can be cleared for the match at Takeover Armageddon, and the interview last week which outlined why Ospreay wants to share the same ring as Gargano. At NXT Takeover: Armageddon, it will be a grudge match, something Ospreay has yet to experience in NXT, as the intense stakes may overshadow the fact that this match is for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship, a title Ospreay will have held for 6 months if he can defend successfully at Takeover: Armageddon.
The stakes are set for what could be a Match of the Year contender in Houston, Texas. It’s Johnny Gargano vs Will Ospreay, NXT Cruiserweight Championship on the line. Not only a dream match, but also a grudge match.

NXT Takeover: Armageddon – 5th June 2021
Wrestling’s greatest run of PPV’s presents yet another stacked instalment with many dream matches in the city of Houston, Texas. The match that catches the eyes of many, is the Cruiserweight Championship match between the challenger, a man who has dubbed himself ‘Mr. Takeover’ and a gatekeeper of NXT, Johnny Gargano. Tonight, he faces the Cruiserweight Champion, the Aerial Assassin, the man who looks to become the frontman of NXT, Will Ospreay.
After Ospreay defended the championship in a fantastic 2/3 Falls match with longtime rival Kushida, Ospreay was attacked by Gargano, defenceless as Gargano laid out a vicious assault. He would go on to justify these actions by claiming that if Ospreay wants to become the face of NXT, it won’t come easy, and Gargano is presenting Ospreay with an opportunity to cement himself as a star for the black-and-gold brand. For Ospreay, this match is personal, and not even about the Cruiserweight Championship he possesses. The stage is set for a fantastic bout between these two.
Gargano is out first, he receives boos from every corner of the arena, and rightfully so, he knows he is the villain to the fans. Gargano believes that he’s got into Ospreay’s head, will that be the case tonight? As soon as Will Ospreay’s triumphant theme plays, Gargano’s expression goes from arrogant to determined.
This man has became an instant fan favourite with the NXT crowd, the NXT Cruiserweight Champion is here! Ospreay emerges out onto the stage in Ezio-inspired gear, he will need the performance of a lifetime tonight if he wants to walk away as Cruiserweight Champion. Leading into this match, Ospreay had to work intense rehab so he could be fit for tonight, Ospreay looks in better shape than ever. As soon as he goes into the ring, both Ospreay and Gargano move towards each other and begin to insult each other, this is a grudge match as much as a dream match.

Ospreay lunges in for a collar and elbow tie up, Gargano wags his finger with a smirk on his face, Ospreay kicks Gargano, irish whip, Ospreay commits to a drop kick while Gargano holds onto the ropes, Gargano then connects a side headlock, he restrains Ospreay on the canvas, this is a psychological game for both men as well as physical. The crowd rally Ospreay to his feet, he does so and goes to plant Gargano with a Belly to Back suplex, Gargano flips and lands on his feet, he pushes Ospreay up against the ropes and goes for a roll up pin, Ospreay is able to kick out, he connects a superkick, Gargano replies with a step up enziguri, both men tease a superkick, backing out last second, Gargano then goes for the superkick which Ospreay telegraphs, he dodges it and throws Gargano outside of the ring, he then connects a Sasuke Special, lighting up the Houston crowd.

Later on in the match, Gargano keeps on finding unique ways to counter the Storm Breaker, meaning Ospreay struggles to put Gargano away with other signature moves, he tries to resort to the Os-cutter to put the challenger away. The two men eventually find themselves in a heated striking exchange, Ospreay connects continuous forearms, he charges up a superkick which Gargano dodges, DISCUS CLOTHESLINE!
He gets Ospreay up, he goes for the Lawn Dart, but Ospreay gets out of it, he gets Gargano up, STORM BREAKER! Ospreay backs up into the corner, he’s going for the Hidden Blade! OPENING SEGMENT : Juice doesn’t want none (3 mins)
The show begins with Kevin Kelly and corporate owner Mox Damon on commentary. Juice turns up to the locker room are controlled by CHAOS. He approaches Okada and demands a shot at the Rain Maker Championship. He points out that he has something to prove and the only way he can earn everyone’s respect is by fighting his way to the top. Fairly. Okada points out that since Juice lost the 10 Man Okada Invitational, he has no stake at the title. But since Juice came to him like an honorable man, he will give him a chance. Juice will fight Will Ospreay, Okada’s protege, tonight and if he wins, Juice will get a place in the main event of Chapter 1 for the Rain Maker Championship against him and Joe Hendry

FIRST MATCH : Tomohiro Ishii Vs Rampage Brown ATLAS Rules (9 mins)
Ishii’s head is still taped after his serious bump in the last episode. The brawl starts with Rampage looking for redemption after being sidelined due to the attacks in the first week. He keeps attacking Ishii’s head with knee strikes. Rampage dominates the match with multiple powerbombs but Ishii keeps no selling the moves. He powers out of a Northern Light’s Suplex and rips his bandages! He headbutts Rampage until Brown starts bleeding. Ishii drives Rampage’s head through the turnbuckle before dropping an Ishii Driver on him to score a victory. He takes a mic and screams, “This is CHAOS. And we’ve only just begun.”

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT: Regal’s losing it. (6 mins)
Regal is seen traveling backstage, talking to multiple wrestlers to join Team Regal but everyone keeps declining it. Gedo along with his CHAOS boys Will Ospreay, Briscoe Brothers and Ishii watch him as he gets rejected. They approach him as Gedo pats his shoulders.
“It's gonna be OK, William. I'd need someone to move the garbage bags from my office when I become the GM after Chapter 1. You can have that job! I’ll even pay you extra if you shine my shoes!”
Regal looks furious and gets in Gedo’s face.
“I'm not losing this job so soon. I'm going to find a team. And they're going to beat your side. You have my word, Gedo”
Gedo smirks and leaves as Regal sits down in a corner, realising that he's got no chance in finding four wrestlers who'd take on Gedo’s team at Chapter 1. He raises his eye as he sees a stuffed toy cat sitting on a camera equipment.

SECOND MATCH : Young Bucks Vs El Ligero/Travis Banks (19 mins)
The Prestige members start by attacking the Young Bucks hard. Travis Banks brings on some strong style as he delivers strong Buzzsaw kicks to Nick Jackson's chest. He tags in Ligero who controls the match by two consecutive splashes on Nick. Nick gets in a superkick on Ligero when he goes for a third one. He makes the hot tag to Matt Jackson who clears the house. Matt and Nick deliver consecutive Super Kicks to Travis Banks knocking him out. Just when they pick Ligero for the Meltzer Driver, lights go out.
CCK arrive from under the ring. Their bodies are heavily taped after the injuries they suffered from the attack by the Young Bucks last week. Lykos double spears them as Brooks and Lykos drop their finisher on Matt. Young Bucks win via DQ and escape. Brooks takes the mic.
“We attacked you in a ring. You attacked us outside it. You hit me and mate here pretty hard lads but I ain’t no plastic toy and my friend here is no common man. Whadya say, Lykos?”
He hands the mic to Kid Lykos but before the man-wolf can speak, he takes the mic away.
“See, Lykos doesn't like you. He wants to rip you apart. So at Chapter 1, we want you and your BattleClubPro Tag Championships because right now, we're the only team you haven't beaten here.”
Nick Jackson takes the mic, still panting after the exhausting match and the assault,
“Fine then. You've got a date. But at Chapter 1, you will SUCK IT”

THIRD MATCH: Hiroshi Tanahashi Vs Jay Briscoe (18 mins)
Match starts standardly between the 7 tine IWGP Heavyweight Champion and the former ROH World Champion. Tanahashi drops a dragon screw and delivers a slingblade on Briscoe to get him down. Jay's brother Mark Briscoe arrives to distract Tanahashi but Ryusuke Taguchi arrives to stop Mark and help his Taguchi-Japan stablemate. Tanahashi climbs the top rope and delivers High Fly Flow. 1...2..3.. Tanahashi wins.
POST MATCH: Tanahashi looks the Devil in the eye (10 mins)
As Tanahashi celebrates, lights go off. The screen reads, “FADE TO BLACK” as an army of druids surround the ring. They carry torches. A guitar riff starts to play as a coffin rises from the stage. A druid pushes it inside the ring and sets it up straight and standing inside the ring. Tanahashi looks stunned.
He finally opens the coffin as smoke pours out of it. Its empty! The druid who carried the coffin delivers a devastating kick to Tanahashi, knocking him out. His face is still hidden but he bends down and looks at Tanahashi’s face as the screen shows a gravestone,
“Name: Hiroshi Tanahashi. Died: NWA Chapter 1 via Black Mass”
IN-RING SEGMENT: Riddle’s celebration gets riddled with bullets (15 mins)
Matt Riddle arrives to the ring, in his trademark flipflops and cap. The ATLAS Championship is slung around his chest like a guitar strap. He sips mocktail.
“Now, I know its been a long journey for us, bro. But the crisis with the ATLAS division is over. And I dont want any thanks or credit for it. I'm the King Of Bros. This is my job to look out for my guys. But since I am now the first ever ATLAS Champion in this company. I thought a little celebration is in order. So I'd like to call all of my bros or broseffes from you guys to come in the ring and join the party.”
A man sitting in the front seat of the crowd, wearing a Matt Riddle hoodie jumps over the barricade and enters the ring. Riddle overs him an entire bottle of champagne.
“Drink it up, bro”
The hooded man looks at the bottle before smashing it over Riddle's head! He takes off the hood. Its KENTA.
“I told you that this ain't over. I told you I didn't do anything. But you didn't listen”
He takes the ATLAS Championship belt and starts whipping Matt Riddle with it, who's profusely bleeding.
Regal arrives with security who grab hold of KENTA. He knocks out the first few guards before they overpower him. They start taking him out but Riddle groggily stands up and picks the mic.
“This...this is personal now. You want a fight KENTA. You want to hurt? Then we'll fight. I'll give you your shot at the ATLAS Championship as you earned. At Chapter 1”
KENTA smiles and lets the guards evict him.

MAIN EVENT : Juice Robinson Vs Will Ospreay (22 mins)
Will and Juice start the match with high intensity. The quick and lighter Ospreay gains the early upperhand by outpacing Juice. Robinson counters a hurricanrana into a powerbomb. He regains control by delivering a delayed Northern Lights Suplex. Juice lifts him up for powerslam but Ospreay moves under his arm and delivers the RainHam Maker, a tribute to his mentor, Kazuchika Okada. Ospreay tries to use the spinning Will on Juice but Robinson counters by catching him and throwing him with a Last Call. Juice screams for Juice Is Loose (UnprettieKillswitch) as he turns Ospreay. He pauses for a second and Will capitalises. He uses the ropes to do a 360 degree flip over Juice's head and grabs his neck midway, delivering the OsCutter! 1…..2…...3… Ospreay wins!
Post Match: It's Raining Joe Hendry (13 mins)
Kazuchika Okada makes his way to the ring as notes fall from the sky. He carries his Rain Maker Championship. Juice looks crestfallen at another nearly missed opportunity. Okada congratulates his prodigy, Ospreay for the win. Gedo takes Ospreay to the back as Okada stays in to address the crowd.
“I have made this title a World Championship. I don't fight to make money for myself. I fight to make money for the promoters. For this business. That is what the Rain Maker is. I fight for all of you. I…”
Before he can complete, the sirens of the Prestige's music hits. Joe Coffey, El Ligero and Travis Banks surround Okada. They attack him but Okada fights back. Coffey finally overpowers him and makes him faint with a bear hug. Ligero and Banks hold Okada as Coffey punches him in the gut, making him bleed.
Joe Hendry’s face appears on the tron. He's in a party with Ed Sheeran, Sergio Aguero and Daniel Craig in the background. He sips his wine as Coffey punches Okada.
“Not so strong now huh? If I wanted, I could have been there, in that ring. I could've brought a referee and pinned you. 1.2.3. Your championship would've been mine. But I won't do that. I want to prove to these people that my face deserves to be on this company's championship. Its should be the Joe Hendry Championship, not the Rain Maker Championship. Look at me. I sit among stars. I break toast with them and I can take this company and you pathetic fans to places you've never dreamt of. But I'll do that by pinning Okada at your first ever PPVs main event. I'll take that Championship and be YOUR hero. I am the Rain Maker. Believe….in me.”
He snaps his fingers as notes start falling from the sky. But instead of the face of Okada they have the face of Joe Hendry. He leaves to join the party again as Prestige leave Okada in the ring, a bloody broken mess.
